Former President Donald Trump has once again found himself at the center of a political storm. This time, it's due to a digitally manipulated image of his 2024 GOP primary rival, Nikki Haley, merged with former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The image was shared on Truth Social, Trump's social media platform, where he has been openly attacking Haley in the lead-up to the New Hampshire vote. The picture imposed Haley's face onto the body of Clinton, his 2016 presidential race opponent.

This digital manipulation is the latest in a series of attacks by Trump against Haley, who is also vying for the Republican nomination for the 2024 Presidential election. The two have been involved in a heated political rivalry, with Trump even mocking Haley for her Indian first name in one of his posts.

Trump's move has been seen as an attempt to liken Haley to Clinton, who lost the 2016 presidential race to him. The former South Carolina governor has been gaining traction among some Democrats and business-minded conservatives as a potential candidate who could beat Trump in the upcoming election.

Haley's campaign has been heavily focused on her home state of South Carolina, but Trump's tactics suggest he may be growing increasingly nervous about her rising popularity, says her campaign. A super PAC aligned with the former president has even nicknamed her “high tax Haley” as she continues to poll a close second against him in recent surveys.

Trump blazed the Iowa caucuses, and there are indications that the race for the 2024 Republican nomination might be over before you know it. With the New Hampshire vote coming up, it remains to be seen how this latest controversy will impact the candidates' standings.
